While structure is still critical, the bisection of each composition is slowly disolving into a more cohesive separation of space. Each painting has a build up of information and details, with the layering of collage papers still critical to my creative interests and impulses. The title of Straightening Up has a double meaning, one of organizing and bring order visually to a somewhat chaotic and random back field, as well as bringing some order into my internal landscape as well.
